"Dr. Koach was aware of my chronic hip condition before I went to see her.  However, before beginning the message, she asked for specific details of the condition and where my pain was on a scale of 1-10.  Most of the visit was spent working on my psoas and other muscles supporting the hip joint because pain in that region was my chief complaint.  I felt that Dr. Koach's approach was very focused and yet gentle.  She took great care to check in with me at each step as it is a very sensitive area.  She encouraged me not to go beyond a critical point with the pain because it was important that my muscles trust her.  I resonated with this approach because I know that there is a great deal of fear lodged in those muscles - fear of instability.  Dr. Koach's touch was very intuitive: I believe that she easily found the areas that needed attention.  Throughout the massage, I felt that I was in good hands and that she put my health first and foremost.  As a patient, I appreciated her combination of confidence and gentleness, which allowed me to truly relax and receive the treatment."
